SAUGERTIES NFL FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Saugerties Flag Football League is affiliated with NFL FLAG, USA Football, and with Play 60. Together our mission is to make the next generation of youth the most active and healthy. In October 2007, the NFL launched NFL PLAY 60, a national youth health and fitness campaign focused on increasing the wellness of young fans by encouraging them to be active for at least 60 minutes a day.

We are a fully insured youth COED league with 3 divisions. The first division is for ages 5-8 years olds. The second division is for 9-12 year olds and the third division is for 13-16 year olds. Games are on Saturdays at the Glasco Fields behind the Glasco Firehouse.

 The season starts in September and runs through to November. There are 8 regular season weeks, 1 week of playoff games which consists of a Saturday and Sunday. On the 10th week is the Super Bowl. There will be one champion crowned in each division. It all ends with a banquet ceremony where we hand out trophies to our champions and enjoy some home cooked food.

  Each child will receive a NFL FLAG reversible jersey with their team logo on the front and a flag belt. 

Sign up sheets are available apond request and on our website and App under documents. Sign up fees are $75. After July it goes up to $85. 

Mouth pieces MUST be worn at all times during practices and games. Mouth pieces are supplied by the parent. Cleats are recommended.
